It was a Tang Dynasty lost in a time of chaos. The central plains were divided by warlords, and the borders were fraught with danger, both internal and external. Yet Chang'an was still filled with nights of song and dance, with flowing robes and slow dances. He was a lone, fierce soldier. His arrows could travel a thousand miles, causing the valiant nomadic warriors to tremble at the mere mention of his name. But the Tang Dynasty offered him no glory.
