"Ghost Blows Out the Light" is a series of text-based adventure stories, initiated by a family heirloom of a secret manual. The novel introduces four major tomb-raiding schools in history: Mo Jin, Xie Ling, Fa Qiu, and Ban Shan. Mo Jin is considered the school with the most sophisticated techniques and the most rules. "People light the candle, ghosts blow out the lamp" is the secret passed down through generations of the Mo Jin school, meaning that when entering an ancient tomb, one must light a candle in the southeast corner before opening the coffin. If the candle goes out, one must quickly retreat and not take anything. It is said that this is the regulation of the ancestral master.
