Weathering With You

In the summer of his first year of high school, the young man Hodaka runs away from his isolated island home to Tokyo. Amidst the incessant rain, in a corner of the bustling city, Hodaka meets Hina, a girl with a mysterious ability. "It's going to clear up soon," the girl's ability is to make the sky clear just by praying. This is a story of a boy and a girl, who are in the turbulent flow of fate in an era of abnormal climate, and "choose" their own way of survival. The original novel of the animated feature film "Weathering With You" was written by director Shinkai Makoto himself.
