The Whip-Wielding Man

As it is written in the Bible's Book of Ecclesiastes: 'What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.' Since ancient times, all living beings are but like oxen and horses. Two thousand years ago, the sage also sighed: 'If wealth can be sought, even as a whip-wielding man, I would do it.'
