The Great Hermit

The Great Hermit hides in the city, the Small Hermit hides in the mountains. A Shan's ideal is to become a Great Hermit. What is a Great Hermit? How can one become a Great Hermit? Able to grace the hall, enter the kitchen, seduce the mistress, and act like a wolf. Clearly, just these are not enough. Only by mastering the seven arts of the scholar (qin, qi, shu, hua, shi, jiu, hua), and being proficient in mountain, medicine, stars, physiognomy, divination, courtesan and actor, can one become a qualified Great Hermit. Open the Third Eye, travel the soul, cultivate a body double, traverse the four seas, explore the hidden and seek opportunities.
